I Want Free Gifts And Cash Prizes!!!

I’ve been very much interested in doing auction with the items I am interested with. It’s cheaper that way than to buy a new item right?

In auction, the highest bidder gets the item he wants. But, I found a website wherein it’s possible to win free gifts by doing a bid at a lowest price without paying a penny at all. Strange right? You can find these activity at bid4prizes. It is a reverse-auction game where the lowest bid wins the prize. How to avail these free gifts or cash prizes? You have to get the lowest unique bid for your desired prize that you wishes to have. And if it is only you who bids the lowest amount of the item, you win the item! Unbelievable isn’t it? Another thing that’s amazing with this game is that you don’t even pay a single penny at all. The amount you bid is only phony and when you win, you get the item and shipping fee is free too.

Bid4prizes has many winners already who joined on their game. They have winners all over the world who have bid and won amazing free gifts and cash prizes. So bid now and win!

Dancing Jailbirds in Philippines

The video shot in a provincial jail on the central Philippine island of Cebu show some of the 1,600 inmates dancing in a routine to the Jackson classic and has attracted more than 1.9 million views on YouTube.
The success of the videos, which see dozens of orange-suited men lined up in neat rows, dancing in synchronized fashion, has surprised the men who started the practice as a form of physical exercise.

At first, the choreographer find it hard to communicate with the prisoners but as time goes by, he managed to do it. He compelled these people to take part and eventually, they cooperated with him. See? Even if they are prisoners, it doesn’t mean that we don’t have to respect them. Of course yes. For me, despite that they have done something, I still believe that we must forgive and respect them as a person. They are humans like us. I know that their health is a big problem too. I believe that they should be treated well and their health and food must be something that government must prioritize too.

If you watch this video, you will see discipline, coordination and synchronization. See it for yourself guys

Tagged: What Were You Thinking?

An interesting tag from Ana à Dijon, France. Thanks Ana for passing this tag. My life isn't that interested like yours but here's my answer:

"What Were You Thinking when you first met your current main squeeze? (husband, wife, boyfriend, girlfriend, significant other, sex partner, WHATEVER!)"

The history:

Hubby and I met at the dating site. Things went fine from the first conversation until the last. When I first saw him at the airport, I found him handsome and on the other hand, I was very very nervous. When I saw at the tv monitor that his flight has landed, I was hesitating if I should met him or not coz I was scared that he may not find me pretty. When we met eachother face to face, everything was like a magic. Everything was really perfect. Were always smiling and inlove. For the first time in my life, he is the only guy who told me that I'm pretty *blushing* hehehe. Hey, don't yah guys deteste that huh! At least once in my life, I hear someone saying those nice words on me. He likes it very much when I have darker brown skin color. I don' know why but.....We had great times together and everything that I fantasized about a romantic getaway with someone happened with him.

See? Love comes when you least expect it.

I'm tagging MissT and Marie. Sorry guys for the tag. Oh ayan MissT, me assignment ka na kaagad. Oppps! sorry.... Anyone who'd like to grab this tag, feel free to do it...

6 Facts About Me

I was tagged by ZJ, a filipina like me whose presently residing in Phom Penh, Cambodia. She speaks english very well huh! Hey guys, sorry if my grammar isn't correct hehehe. But anyway, here is my answer to your tag- random facts about me.

Fact 1: At the age of 7, I got hit by a taxi in Cebu City. Unfortunately, the taxi driver wasn't able to escape his responsibilities on me. Neighbors surrounded him directly during the incident. I, myself, was surprised when it happened. All I remember was that, before I decided to crossed the street, I knew that this taxi was very far and suddenly, everything happened like a magic. The only thing I remember was that I was laying on the street and seeing all these people around me and yet, I don't feel any single pain on my body.

Fact 2: I started working at the age of 16 years old. My classmate in college whose working at the office asked me if I liked to work at the office as a part-time. I took the opportunity without thinking. Everything went fine. Finally, my boss hired me and became a full-time worker. One of our famous client was Rustan's in Cebu City.

Fact 3: I am a scuba diver. I am not on the advance level yet but I dived 3 times already. It was funny coz when I am diving, I always pinch my nose. The best experience about diving was when I was with my hubby, diving ensemble for the first time. I find it romantic. It was good coz we share common activities together. Mostly of the time, we snorkel together. I love the beauty under the sea. It is very magnificent!

Fact 4: I always scream when I am very sportive. It is my other way of releasing my fear out. Believe me, but I am really very noisy hehehe. Hubby, the owner of Planet Action and his guide found me funny by screaming but they saw in me that I am a fighter as well. We did river climbing and canyoning on their agency in Moalboal, Cebu City.

Fact 5: I am a moody. Yes, it is one of my negative traits. I don't know if filipinas are known to be moody but I am very moody. I know that communication is very important but once I make tampo, nobody can hear me a single word. Why? For me, I prefer to be in that way than to speak and I may say something bad which I don't really mean saying it out to a person. This is one thing I am still trying to change.

Fact 6: I love cuisine. I love to cook all kinds of food. Right now, I am still trying to cook french food. Even if the cooking book is in french, it is never a hindrance for me. At the kitchen, it's either the dictionary is with me or I look for the meaning of the words I don't know before I go on a battle at the kitchen.

Voila ZJ. Now you know me better. You know how to speak bisaya or cebuano like me ha. Very interesting. I hope we can dive together in the near future.

I want to tag you:

Girlie - coz I want to know you more especially about your cooking skills and photography
MommyBa- I want to know you as well
Marie- I want to know your secret on how to become a successful businesswoman like you

If you guys are interested in trying this experience, please don't hesitate to grab it ***wink***...Sorry, palitan tayo ng tag hehehe

The Face Behind The Blog

I am 2 months old as a blogger and this is the first time I posted a pic of mine. Anna, a friend of mine from Dijon said that she never saw a picture of me on my page but yes that is correct. Voila, here it is now. This was taken when we went to Kawasan Falls to have a bath. Grrrrr so ugly! Bronzé huh? I love to take pictures of any kind, I love to do belly dance in PI, love to cook too for my family, love to exercise, love to write. I am married to a french guy and I don't have any kids at the moment. I'm trying the benefits of sponsored post and to check if it really pays but I am hoping that I will receive my check next month. Huhuhuhuu not easy huh to earn dollars

The woman who tagged me. Thanks Girlie. Feel free to check her page. She is really a certified hip & cool momma ***wink***

2nd step - Include links to other people that have displayed a photo, or include their photos in your post, adding a reference.

3rd step - Tag as many others as you like in your post to spread the meme.
4th step - If you link back to me here and send an email I’ll be sure to include links back to you. Each person tagged should create their own post and repeat the process.

My weekend

Hello my dear friends here. Sorry I was out for a couple of days here. Last friday, we left here in Bordeaux to go in Paris. We left home at around 7 in the morning and we arrived in Paris at around 1 pm. Long trip huh? But it was nice especially seeing the nature around. It is really beautiful seeing these green things around, the sunflower fields especially, sheeps, cows and many others. I can say that it was really a great trip even if it was quite short. Late friday afternoon, we headed directly to the chateau where my inlaws were waiting. It was the first time I saw how cute the chateau is. I was happy coz all my inlaws were there and we all did the food tasting for the upcoming celebration. Tout va bien! We were kinda busy but we enjoyed it. I enjoyed the time I had with my inlaws in their home as well. Great food, great conversation and great bonding as well. Ohh, I tried driving too last saturday but unfortunately, I was freaking out while doing it. I was doing zigzag hehehehe and hubby was very nervous. He was scared that he won't manage to drive his car anymore. Oppps, pardon!

My little business went fine too. Maman, my sister-in-law & mammy bought me necklaces and bracelets. Not bad at all as I am just starting but I hope this one will be successful one day. But anyway, take a look on some of the photos I took during the weekend. I'll add some more later when hubby will be home. Enjoy!

Red rose I took yesterday at inlaws home before we left. I love to take pictures of any kind.

This is at the wheat field when farmers are harvesting. There is a special kind of machine that separates the grains from the herbs and a machine that forms like this. This round ones are very useful during winter season for the cows as their food and a little something to keep them warm.

Sunflower inside the vase at parent's inlaw home.

A la campagne, you'll see fields of sunflowers here in France. It is really beautiful and it will really make you say "WOW"....

Another picture of sunflowers. This was taken yesterday when I was with my mother-in-law.

My mother-in-law. She took 4 or 5 sunflowers (turnesol) so that we will have something here at home. Isn't she kind? Merci beaucoup maman.

Their cows here. I find them cute hehehe. Haven't you notice that their ears have numbers? It's lotto numbers maybe ;-p

Red roses at inlaws home.

Another cute flower I found at inlaws home. I want to have some like this at the terrace here at home.

Summer Is Here!!!

Last weekend was 34 degrees celsius here in Bordeaux. It was really hot here so hubby and I decided to go at the beach. At first, we were kinda confused if we go at Lacanu or Le Porge. We went in Lacanu once and I can say that it is like hollywood there. It is a very crowded place but normal because it is a place where surfers go and there are many different kinds of cafes and restaurants there too. We knew that it would be very difficult for us to find a place for parking there so we decided finally to go in Le Porge.

Le Porge is on the South West of France on the Atlantic coast coast between the Medoc and the Arcachon Basin. I can say that it is less crowded there. There are restaurants there too and camping site. We left home at around 4 in the afternoon thinking that it would be less crowded by that time as it is late in the afternoon already. But we were completely wrong. Traffic was incredible. When we were finally there, it was even very difficult for us to park the car. Not only us had such kind of problem but everyone. It is like a fiesta here in France when it's warm. People take advantage of the weather by going at the beach, going at the park with their family or kids, jogging, riding a bicycle and going at the cafe. It is really unbelievable. Take note, never I see anyone here using umbrella when weather is warm hehehehe. Well, they like to have tan skin you know;-)

Hubby did body surf and I did my 2nd bath at the ocean. Oh yes sisters, 2nd bath at the ocean. I love the freshness of the water when it is really hot like that. I never had the courage to try body surf as I am shy. But to do sunbathing isn't bad at all huh!

But anyways, here are some of the photos. Click it to enlarge.

People at the beach. Do you see anyone half naked? Shhhhh

Heavy traffic outside Le Porge. People waiting their turns to go inside the property but unfortunately, there was no vacant parking. Ouff!

I would like to try this kind of activity. Cute no?

Family Matters Before Anything Else

I have read many personal articles and topics but one subject that catches me the most is about family. Family serves as the foundation of a successful society. But anyway, I believe that family really matters. Talking about family is a broad subject because there are many topics that links on this subject. But let me share you several topics that I found which you might be interested with:

For Spouses: Make the End of Each Day Special

1. Greet each other warmly. Stop whatever activity you are doing and walk to the door to greet your spouse. It might seem trite, but the effort will make both of you feel special and taken care of.

2. Take a few minutes to find out how your spouse's day was. We are all extremely busy, but this small effort can make a huge difference. Instead of two strangers trying to get things done, you will be partners working together to create a warm family environment.

3. Reconnect with your spouse after a day apart. Share a warm hug, deliver a kiss, or pour a refreshing glass of ice water for him or her.

An extraordinary marriage is filled with countless meaningful moments. Every encounter with your spouse that you make special will enhance your marriage. Don't overlook the small chances to create closeness in your relationship. Besides, small things count right?

Our Kids Internet Safety

Ohhh, people are into technology now and our kids too are being up to date with the latest gadgets and electronics. Sometimes, they know better than us right? At home, the Internet can be a wonderful tool and toy for kids. They can get help with homework, play games, or chat with children around the world. But on the other side, they also can be exposed to pornography, violent material, and hate messages. The most dangerous is that kids will communicate unknowingly with child predators who can lure them into dangerous situations. There is always advantage and disadvantage on many things but I think it is better to inform or teach our children the value of Internet has to offer. Besides, family’s safety is very important and family really matters before anything else in this world. Right? I think it is important to set some limits on the amount of time our kids may spend online and what areas on the Internet are appropriate for them to enter.

Coping with Kids' First Crushes

I like to imagine myself that my kids in the future will consider me not just a mom but their bestfriend too. It is very amazing I think to have this kind of bonding with your kids especially if they feel themselves that they can tell you anything especially when they talk about their crushes. As parents, I like to keep the communication open to allow them to talk about their feelings.

Ouff, what a long post but I find them very interesting. For more interesting insights and experiences on building and maintaining a loving family, you may visit David Woon's Family Matter page.

What's Making Me Busy?

Sorry everyone that I was not able to go here everyday. I was busy on my 2 other blogs. Yes, 2. This is my 3rd one. First one is for the frenchies and for europeans, 2nd one is for my addiction. But it's not that important at all. But anyways, it is summer time but weather here is strange. One day it's warm, the next day it's dull. Days ago, it was warm and hubby and I were having breakfast at the terrace to took advantage of the sun. He was laughing when I told him that I am dreaming of doing breast stroke in the sea hehehe. Yes, I miss doing that. I miss the sea and the sun. I think I've tried swimming in the ocean just once here in France. As I am residing in Bordeaux, the closest body of water here is ocean and it is really cold. But once you're in the water already, it feels fresh especially if the sun is strong. Hopefully if the weather will be good on the weekend, we'd go at the beach again and try body surfing.

Oh another thing. Are you familiar with David and Goliath items? I was able to talk to someone from Philippines. Very interesting coz she keeps me updated about fashion in Philippines right now. For teens, the latest trends are the addiction with this brand David and Goliath and these items can be found at Rustan's and Powerplant Mall in Rockwell. Wow, when I saw their website...hehehe my eyes dropped. Their products are animated items and the price? it's in $$$$. Try to check their website if you guys are interested.

I've been very busy searching for jobs on internet too. It's baby-sitting job. I've found one and emailed the madame. Then, she called me but as the time for baby-sitting is at around 7-8:30 in the evening and it is everyday, I've decided to say no. Why? Because of transportation subject. It takes 2 rides for me and there are lesser buses in the evening. Too bad coz it's in euros. But I am waiting for classes again to start here for the students, hopefully when classes start.. I will find more interesting job online. Wish me luck...

Accessories pour Les Femmes

3 n 1 necklace

Fashionable Bracelets

I am happy because my orders arrived 2 days ago. I love to accessorize things up. I love accessories in general that compliments very well on my outfit. For me, no matter how simple your clothes are or how cheap it is, but once you accessorize it very well plus confidence....oh la la... it is a complete package. Agree?

I love layered necklaces. Why? It is because it gives me choices depending on my mood. I mean, I can wear it single layered, double or even triple. I find it chic and very elegant and cute. It is very hollywood style also hehehe. I got these ideas from magazines. I can say that I am more aware now about fashion as people here are up to date with what are the latest trends around. I love big things really like big belts, big bangles, big bags, big shades, long necklaces. These photos are one of my favorite accessories to complete my wardrobe.

What about you? Do you love to accessorize your outfit too?

Discovering Bordeaux, France

Bordeaux, France..the place where you'll find one of the best wines in the world

This is inside the Chateau where my next wedding will be. My inlaws took this photo and there was a wedding celebration during that day too.

This is the small chateau where hubby & I will be getting married again for the 2nd time. This time, it will be a religious ceremony. When? It will be on October 13 of this year. What's the name of the chateau? Hehehe, make some research ;-p

Place de la Bourse again in the afternoon. When it's warm, there is a scenario like this. Water flows like vapor and many people go in this place to play with the water or to keep themselves fresh.

Place de la Bourse at night. This one is at Bordeaux Centre.

Pont de Pierre et l'église de St. Michel at night

Another chateau surrounded with vineyards or grapeyards. Sorry, I couldn't remember the names of the chateaux I placed here.

This is one of the chateau (castle) with a cute, beautiful garden.

Voila, these are just some of the chateaux you will find here in France if oneday you guys will be coming over here. It is very interesting to visit these places and have a little look or exurcsion on how wines are done. Very interesting really. I've tried it myself ;-)

Famous Wines in France

Medoc....du vin rouge

I am 4 months old here in France and so far, I am able to adjust with the things and do not have problems at all with my new environment. Friends asked me if I don't have any problem about the french foods here, people and etc. but I can say no except that I am drunk on my first glass of du vin rouge ou du vin blanc. Sounds funny but it's true.

Were presently residing here in Bordeaux. It is the place where famous wines come from. Here, you will find many castles with vineyards as well. Hmmm, how many chateaux I had visited? 2 to be honest. First one was with my inlaws to buy some wines. Second, was 2 weeks ago to attend a birthday party whose family lives in a small chateau.

I have tasted several red wines, white wines, du vin rose and champagne but when it comes to red wine...this picture above is my favorite. It is light and it doesn't taste bad at all for my throat hehehehe. Sorry guys. As I get drunk very fast, I prefer to drink lighter ones. Well, it's different because in Philippines, we drink red wine, white whine when there are special ocassions in general. But here, it is almost everyday. A meal isn't complete without du vin here. I guess this is the part that I need to work out little by little.
If you guys need a wine supplier, don't hesitate to call me ha. I promise I give you 3% discount hehehe

Koh-Lanta in Palawan, Philippines

Are you familiar with the tv program called SURVIVOR? I'm sure you do. There is a french version of this one and the candidates are frenchies. But do you know where the game is? It is in Palawan, Philippines. Oh yes, it is in my country and I am very proud being a Filipina. Because of this program, frenchies will see how beautiful my country is. The TV Progam is called Koh-Lanta Palawan and it is on TF1 channel. This program has 16 french candidates and they are divided into 2 teams: Guntad & Batang. If you want to visit the website, here it is: http://kohlanta.tf1.fr/kohlanta/ile-palawan/

I can say that this program has helped me in some ways. In what ways? Well, at the school, my teacher and european classmates asked me about Philippines and to describe them how it is and take note, it is in FRENCH LANGUAGE ha. Ouff! It isn't that easy at all but thank God I managed to do it. This program has helped me in a way that people here will have some knowledge about Philippines like how beautiful it is, how kind and welcoming the people are and how abundant we are to have these beautiful and wonderful nature. Well, french love nature and they respect all form of life. That's one of the traits I like about them. And what I noticed, mostly of diving shops in Philippines are owned by Germans. Because of this tv program, I hope it will attract more frenchies to visit Philippines. In that way, there will be more and more tourists coming in. Isn't that wonderful? I wish one day to visit Palawan too, especially Amanpulo hehehhe. In my dreams, or maybe one day if I'll win LOTTO.... :-p

*LOVE* Tag

I was *love* tagged by Girlie. Sorry I did this very late but yes, I will do my best to follow the instructions written below. Oh by the way, I met Girlie because of Francesca. I met her at Glorrieta before we decided to take a lunch. Sorry, I forgot the name of the restaurant. Italianni's??? Pardon me. She loves belly dancing very much and she is really a certified hip & cool momma. Thanks Girlie for tagging me. Check her out and enjoy reading her blog & ask her for tips too if you are interested in belly dancing *wink*...

1. Write a short paragraph at the beginning of your post and link back to the blog that put you on the list in the paragraph. This isn’t a suggestion. You need to break up the duplicate content. Someone took the time to add you so the least you can do is give them an extra link back.
2. Copy the list of originals below COMPLETELY and add it to your blog. If you would like a different keyword for your blog then change it when you do your post and it should pass to most blogs with that keyword.
3. Take the adds from the blog that added you and place them in the “Originals” list.
4. Add at least 1 new blog that you KNOW is using the DO FOLLOW plugin to the list in the “My Adds” section. (Add no more than 5!) Let the people you’ve added know, so that they can keep the list going!

Just A Thought

Life isn't perfect at all. Do you agree? Sometimes, we notice strange, unwanted thoughts that we consider horrible or shameful. We might be upset or shaken that we would think such thoughts and we tell ourselves that it is only just a thought, but those reactions only serve to sustain the problematic thoughts by feeding them energy. That self-disgust is based on the false assumption that we are our thoughts, that even unintentional thoughts, arising from our conditioned minds, are us. They are not us and we need not to act upon or react to them. They are just thoughts with no inherent power and no real message about who we are. We can just relax and let them go — or not. Troubling thoughts that recur over a long period and hinder our inner work may require us to examine and heal their roots in our conditioning.

Thoughts or short reflections comfort you during times of loss, doubt, fear or trouble. It reminds you of the great sacrifice that was freely given for the priceless gift of salvation for mankind. Some thoughts can be poetic but they are all uplifting and inspirational.

David Woon's blog contains his short reflections about Life in general which may serve as a source of inspiration for everyone at times of trouble or about life. His aim is we would also share these thoughts so that we can all learn and grow together as we strive to leave this world a better place than what it was before our humble existence :-)

Some thoughts I'd like to share are:

"One of the sanest, surest, and most generous joys of life comes from being happy over the good fortune of others".
--Archibald Rutledge, Outdoor writer, poet laureate

"Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread love everywhere you go: first of all in your home. Give love to your children, to your wife or husband, to a next-door neighbour."
--Mother Teresa of Calcutta

"There is too much emphasis on success and failure, and too little on how a person grows as he works. Enjoy the journey, enjoy every moment, and quit worrying about winning or losing".
--Matt Biondi

Doing this post teaches me some lessons. Each person is unique and should be contented and thankful for the daily blessings they receive. Never compare yourself to anyone also *wink*.

A True Friend

My Good Friend Janese & her french husband

Days ago, I feel really bad at all. I miss my family and I was paranoid again. Hey, it's not what you think okay? I am not pregnant at all but I wish I am hehehe. I can say that I am quite sensitive and moody sometimes. But it gets better and better after my class as I am on vacation and have decided to take sometime off with grammars. Oh yeah, even my husband notice that I am more relaxed now and happier. In these stormy times of my life, I am thankful that hubby is very supportive and my inlaws, friends are always there for me.

A classmate of mine back in college arrived here in France year 2000. That was the last time we saw eachother but we still kept in touch. It is unbelievable that she's still the same. So when I am now here, we use to keep in touch more. Her name is Janese and she is married to a french guy as well like me and she has 1 cute little boy. Janese, allow me to thank you for the friendship you've shared with me. Thanks very much for being there for me especially when I got paranoid due to many adjustments here in France. You have made my adjustments here easier by giving me some tips and sharing me your experiences as well during your first days here in France. Oh girl, you really made me laugh with your jokes. I even shared it with my husband and he was giggling a lot. Hey, if you and your hubby will decide to go here in Bordeaux..you guys are always welcome here at home and I will surely accompany you around. I will call you once hubby and I will be in Paris *wink*.
