Our Christmas Party

Last night was our Christmas party. It was a very simple party and girls brought in some foods and share it with the others. Our little party was fun and everybody were mingling eachother and were getting to know eachother since all the students were present. That was the only chance for us to really talk and discover one another since our scheds are different plus classes start directly right after each class once finished. Since we feel like we're very feminine, mostly of the foods were sweets like cakes, tartes, pastries together with champagne. Alcohols were forbidden though.

Know What Mesothelioma Is

I always meet mesothelioma word but I honestly don't have any idea what it is. I mean, I know it's cancer but I know where it occurs in one's body, how to avoid it, the treatments and etc. Cancer is a very serious subject and one must know about it so that early treatments will be given before it gets worst. I guess, one must really give an importance to it especially now that treatments are really expensive plus chances of surviving are really low.

Sick Again

Many pending tasks once again and have to submit them before the expiry date comes. I'm so overloaded these last days plus I'm sick too. I was even absent this morning from our bellydancing class and I felt bad about it because I made a promise last night with the girls that I'll be present today. But because of my condition, woke up so late and my body till now is very heavy. Hopefully I'll get better in the next days before Christmas day. Hubby's getting better while my situation gets worse. Anyway, enough for that subject and have to look up somewhere what linear motion is.

Elegant Hard Drives

Finding a gift for somebody can be hard sometime but for me, one of the best gift that you could offer will be hard drives. Everybody has his/her own computer and laptop at home at present time and I'm very much sure that hard drive will be very helpful for that person especially when she/he collects many things and has many valuable documents to be stored. The latest trend for a hard drive is the small one, the one that looks like a book. It's small, light and easy to use.

Moving Without A Hassle

Moving and is searching for a company that has affordable moving trucks? Upack.com is the place that I'll be recommending you. This company is very affordable compared to the other moving companies plus they'll take good care of your belongings well and carefully. A friend of mine tried this company and she's absolutely happy with their service. So friends, give them a call at 1-800-355-1696 for more information.

Shopping at Importadvantage.com

Hey folks, incase you're searching for a tv stand for yourself, feel free to have an eye at importantadvantage.com. I just checked their site and they've got new, stylish and cutie stands available. The savings? They lower their prices up to 50% off from it's original price so you'll really save a lot of money especially for this holiday season.

Rearranging Once Again

Call me a house maniac but I'm going to admit that I did some rearrangement once again and even changed some of our accessories here at home. So far so good. I mean, the changes made the house nicer and perfectly suits to the motif I want. Not finished yet but hopefully, I'll arrive on that final point I want one day. My husband and I are planning of having our own house one day and wishfully it will happen next year. If that will happen, I'll finally have that outdoor lighting I want. Jezzz, been eyeing on that item for a long time already.

Manic Monday #146

Have you ever returned an item to a store for a refund after having used it?
- nope. Never I've tried doing that

You are going out for the evening. If your partner objects to what you are wearing, would you change your clothing?
- Yes, I will. Naturally, I always consult hubby when I'm wearing something if he likes it or not. I mean if it's bulgar or not, if the color compliments to eachother together with the shoes and etc. Hubby has a good fashion taste than me.

What item that you don’t currently possess would you most like to have in your home?
- linge de maison for our bedroom. I'm really trying to control my hands not to purchase these beddings I saw in Zara Home. I like their items there and so far, the articles I purchased there still last.

New Year's Eve Celebrations

It seems like there'll be parties everywhere here for New Year's eve. Why am I saying this? Because I was reading a mgazine and found out that 4 star hotels and mostly of the restos are organizing their own respective activities and menus for their guests. Whoooo! My dream will be to experience Regent Grand Hotel de Bordeaux's festivities. I do know that they'll have a very magnificent celebration. Aside from that, I'm imagining of spending our New Year's eve in Las Vegas. There's this one hotel in las vegas that I really love but I do know that this is not gonna happen because travelling in USA is not in our plans yet.

Thanks Sheriff

Sheriff has been so kind and generous to me eversince I started blogging. When december started, I first thought that I'm not gonna receive anything from him but goodness, he gave me many assignments last night. So happy because that would mean that my pockets won't be empty for the upcoming holidays. Thanks a lot Sheriff and these tasks are indeed a great gift for Christmas.

Reputable Dentist in DC

To my friend Ching who's searching for a Washington DC dentist, this post is for you. A friend of mine told me that you should make a rendez-vous avec Dr. Stephen Garcia (I thought he's my hemeopathe doctor as he is Dr. Garcia too) because this dentist is very good and has very gentle hands. You know what I'm trying to tell you I guess about gentle hands. My friend told me that Dr. Garcia is a very reputable and known dentist in Washington because of his dedication towards his jobs. All his patients love him especially kids and he'll be explaining you the facts that you should know before he'll do any prosthetics or anything. Give him a call ching ASAP.

Pasalubongs And More

Pasalubongs will be coming at home days before our arrival in Cebu. It's in a medium size cartoon plus I'll be bringing several gadgets with me like digital camera, laptop, mobile phones and many others. It's expected that I'll be overluggage once again ^-^. But what can I do? I prefer to do it that way instead of losing these items inside the box. I'm scared that they won't receive it and somebody will just steal it while it's somewhere in this world. Don't want that to happen and as much as possible, I'd like to avoid it knowing the fact that gadgets are pricey (oufff, it took me several months of work just to buy these items), laptop memory upgrade has been done too. Now, I'm just counting the days till our departure day arrives.

We Finally Have Our Tickets

Ohhh laaaa! We already have our tickets for our upcoming trip to Philippines. I'm finally at ease to have it on my hand. Prices have increased compared last year and the taxes are unbelievable. When we made our ticket reservation, hubby wanted to take the travel insurance but I kept on telling him not to do it as the tax we're paying are high enough already. Good thing we have our miles points and the next time we'll be travelling, we'll have our tickets for FREE and we'll have a VIP treatment :-). Life is beautiful isn't it?

Lingeries Or Not?

I've got crazy things inside my head these last days. It's nothing fancy, just some gift ideas that I'll be giving to my close friends here for the upcoming holidays. As I'm into lingeries, I'm thinking if giving them women's lingerie coming from my favorite store but the thing is, I'm not sure if they'll like it or not. The designs aren't bulgar at all and they've got hot pink and spicy red hot colors available. I don't really have any idea if they'll love it but as far as I know, women love it right? ^-^

Marky Cielo dies at 20

One of the things that surprised me yesterday afternoon when checking pep's site was Marky Cielo's death. This is unbelievable and I was really asking myself if it's true or not. Unfortunately, the news is true *sad*. I was an avid follower of Starstruck and I knew from the very start that he'll be the sole winner. I'm not a big fan of him but I like this guy because he seems very simple, kind and down to earth person. I first remember that he and this guy from Cebu (starstruck representative during their starstruck days) were fighting against eachother in the dance floor and it was pretty obvious that Marky has the talent when it comes to it. He won of course and was chosen as the prince of the dance floor. Now, he's dead and doctor's findings is something everybody's waiting for.

Condolence to the Cielo's family and to Marky, people will always love you. Rest in peace in God's hands.

Dream Maison

If one day we'll have our own dream maison with a big garden, I'd like to have Mulberry trees planted around of course flowers. That's something I've been wishing since from the start. Instead of using cement for fence or steels, I prefer to use plants around as a fence because it's beautiful to look at and fresh on the eyes. I couldnd't remember the exact name of that plant I'm talking to but mostly of the people are using it for fences. I find it class and simple.

Ticket Reservation using PAL's Site

I was pissed off when I made an online reservation using PAL's website. As I am responsible for the tickets for our upcoming flight this coming january, I prefer to reserve our tickets in advance but with PAL, their site is always down. I don't understand why. I've been trying to do it since last week until yesterday afternoon but because I found it too much, I decided to give them a call instead (long distance). Yeah, I made a reservation by calling their 24 hours customer service and did the reservation by having a long distance call. It's such a hassle because I had to wait for someone to entertain me for almost 30 minutes. They told me that maybe my credit card is something that's not accepted in their program. What??? That's unbelievable because I'm having visa and as far as I know, it works everything in this world. Told hubby that maybe I should submit for a new credit card application at the bank but he sees no connection at all between PAL and my card. He's right and I'm hoping that PAL's site will be more user-friendly.

Foggy Thursday Morning

This was something that surprised me this morning when I opened our windows. It was foggy yet it was 10 in the morning already. Now, it is only 9 degrees celsius outside but sunny and to think, we're still in automn. Strange but it only shows that winter will be here very soon. Everybody's wearing their winter outfits already and simply disregard automn. People are using their respective gloves when out and even a bonnet. Unbelievable! I on the other hand is still using my ballerin shoes. I guess I have to put it inside the close and adopt the temperature as I don't feel really that good this morning. I was feeling like I'm going to have a fever or colds but I hope not. Voila! Here's the pic that shows how foggy it was here this morning.

This coming weekend, it's expected to snow as temperature will e -1. I'm excited as it's strange for bordeaux to be snowing.

Ski Season Coming

Tant pis!

Must be beautiful up there when it's sunny *grin*

Last weekend was spent à Lourdes. It wasn't exactly in the plan but I did told my husband that I'll be going there by myself without him if he's not interested. I scared him I guess coz I was really searching for TGV tickets (back & fourth) and even told him how much it cost. Goodness! The tickets are very affordable. The cheapest one was 20+ euros and the most expensive I found was 30+ euros. After telling this to my husband, he then decided that he'll be coming with me and searched for a hotel there without any hesitation lolz. Anyway, the weather at that time wasn't good but people kept on flocking in and out. It was freakin' cold but it didn't stopped anyone even me! On our way back home (sunday), we were thinking of going there in Pyrennees for me to see how it is there and the ski stations but unfortunately, we didn't managed to do it because it was foggy, the roads are going up and was raining. But despite of that, it's very obvious everywhere that the mountains are filled with ice now and soon, people will be skiing. Voici the proof (taken while hubby's driving & I taking photos)

Building A House In Philippines

What's making me busy these last days? Browsing for country-side house plans :-). It's my aim to build a nice house on that empty lot I bought last year. It's a long-term investment and I want it to be really perfect, a place that I can call my home in Philippines. I want the modern style while hubby prefers country-side designs. Country-side houses are not bad as well because it's good in one's eyes and it's simple yet elegant at the same time. We both saw several designs last night but no final decision yet but at leasts, we now have an idea as to how it will be. The partitions and everything will be my idea. I'm starting to draw my own plan inside of this house and how I want it to be like how many bedrooms, toilet and bath and etc. Now the question is, do you guys hired an architect or an engineer when you have your house constructed? How much did it costed you? Are permits required? Insurance necessary?

Finally In NY!

It feels really good when somebody thanks you because of the small gesture you've done for her/him. A friend of mine thanked me many times since monday because her moving going in New York went very smoothly. She's in NY at the moment unpacking her things together with her bf. She's very content and happy that her entire belongings are very well-intacked especially her fragile itemss. Good thing that this New York Moving Company that I recommended her really works! I was hesitant to tell her at first to call this moving company I know because I haven't tried it but after giving them a call, she and this company managed to understand eachother well.

How many hours of TV do you watch per week? Do you feel that's too much, not enough or just right?
- how many hours? 10 hours total I guess per week. I don't find it much but moderate. I watch the news and after that, I do multitasking like blogging and listening what's being said on the tv at the same time. I'm training my ears for the french words and accents and as much as possible, I don't watch but listen instead.

Which of the 5 senses do you feel is your strongest sense?
- taste? hehehe Hubby always tells me that I've got luxurious taste than him. Don't have any idea why he said that.

What's the wackiest belief you held as a child?
- wackiest? Hmmmm I can't think of any

Garlic Bread

Pasta isn't complete without garlic bread. Do you guys agree? Garlic bread is something that I've been missing for almost a year and 7 months now. I've been searching for garlic bread spread at the supermarkets here but nothing available. Excuse me but I really thought that people I know are using a bread spread like that but a big NO-NO! So, I finally made one last night as hubby was missing pasta too. When he tried that garlic bread I prepared, he said that it was the missing puzzle in serving pasta. Hahahah he's funny and I guess he hasn't tried it. Normal because restos here don't served garlic bread. Maybe at big and luxurious restos maybe but mostly of the cafe's, bistros, restos and brasseries here will just give you a baguette :-)

Forgetful Me

I hate it when I can't memorize our choreo. Last saturday, we did a new choreo once again and nothing stores in my brain. I don't know what's the reason exactly but I was so disgusted especially with this lady kept on asking me for the dance moves and kept on telling me that she has gained a few pounds because of orovo diet pills. I'm happy for her of course but I wanna have a full concentration when I'm at the class. I love what I'm doing and when I do something, I wanna make it perfect. Yes! I'm a perfectionist as you can see and that's one of my traits. Call it a weakness or a strength but that's a real fact of who I really am.

Car Seats For Your Babies

Mothers out there who are searching for car seat for their babies, babyearth.com is one of the online stores that I'm recommending you. I was browsing this site and goodness, they've got many items there that all mommies need for their beloved angels. Their items are very affordable and are of very good quality. This Britax car seat (photo above) is something that I like there coz it's pink and is very perfect for a baby girl.

Manic Monday #138

Do you usually sleep on one side of the bed or another?
- on one side

Something you wish to accomplish before the end of the year:
- there are many to mention it actually but I'd rather keep it personal :-)

Voila folks! Sorry my answers are very short today coz I'm shopping for a 16 GB flash drive. Happy monday!

What’s Sitting on Your Shelf?

BTT's question for this week is: "What tomes are waiting patiently on your shelves?"

I love reading but when I'm really lazy to open those books and novels, it will take me months and even a year before I'll remember them ^-^. Honestly, I've got several books and many novels waiting for me. The french books (grammar) that my husband bought are unopened still and the novels he has are untouched too. Whose to blame? Me. I've got a time of course but I am spending it infront of my laptop. It's my way of relaxing right after my work. But honestly, it's pretty tiring as well to read and to study grammar all over again. I don't like it plus hubby's novels are all in french. Grgrgr, though I've got a translator machine and several dictionaries but I'm too lazy to use it. Voila!

What is one thing you admire about each of your parents?
- they're very loving and forgiving.

Which parts of your home do you like best?
- bedroom. I like to go back home when I'm really tired and thinking our bedroom makes me excited in coming back here. The room is always well-arranged all the time and relaxing.

Which would you prefer and why? To have every stoplight turn green upon your arrival for the rest of your life or to have one week of the best sex any person ever had?
- hmmmmm best sex? hehehehe...stoplight turn green for the rest of my life? hmmmm

They've Got Internet Connection At Last!

...yeah and I'm very happy to know that my family in PI are having their own internet connection now at home. The connection really seems fast compared before and was even able to voice chat clearly with my entire family including my nieces and nephew. Everything is doing great with them and I'm very happy and proud of them that they aren't giving me any headaches at all ^-^. Although at times they do that shhhh!. My bro (the eldest in the family) is a big internet addict so now, he doesn't have to spend his allowance at the café but instead, save it in his own piggy bank. Changes like this are indeed good even if I've got to spend a few $$ as an additional expense plus have to purchase 2 swivel computer chairs for them as well. Oufff!

Manic Monday #136

What is the most useful gift you’ve ever been given?
- digital camera

Name the most terrifying moment of your life so far.
- most terrifying moment I guess was when I encountered this accident when I was 7 years old. I thought at that moment that it would be the end of my life.

One hot summer afternoon, while walking through a parking lot at a large shopping center, you notice a dog suffering badly from the heat inside a locked car. What would you do?
- go back at the shopping center and ask the accueil to page the owner that his/her dog is inside his/her car and is in desperate need of water.

Cookies Recipes

Aren't those Christmas cookies yummy? For a diehard femme comme moi, I need cookies recipes and try it for myself at the kitchen instead of ordering it at the patisserie. Yehha! Now I'm a happy wife finally! I can serve it for hubby and friends and even sell it at my workplace. Great idea huh? Or maybe propose something at the supermarket if I could supply them my cookies à la Francine on a term basis. What do you guys think?

Wines And Cheese

1 glass of wine and I'm already drunk. Yes! That's how fast I get drunk and it started last month when I've decided that I won't be drinking wines that much. 1 glass of wine a day is not bad at all and it's good for health but in our case, wines are always present for lunch and dinner. Why wines? White wine for aperitif (depending on what's for apero) and another wine (red or white) for dinner. It's much right? That's why we've been on a lilo mode for it. Of course it's present when eating dinner but lesser now compared before. We eat lesser cheese now as well as it's not good for the tummy and it's not good for me as well. Homeopathe warned me about it because it's not doing any good on my pimples. Grgrgrgrg camembert and chevre are my favorites but I have to follow and listen my doctor. Voila! That's the latest news here and I'm searching for dehumidifier online ^-^.

Visit and Discover Bordeaux

There was this very huge cruise ship here in Bordeaux last week. That was the very first time I saw something as huge as that and from the car, it's possible to see that it is one of the luxurious cruise ship. Why? It's possible to see that there were chefs running around and waiters were serving something, plus the hall was filled with a very nice and big chandelier as well. We're not that far when I took a look at this cruise ship. It may be a little bit cold here now but tourists keep on flocking in here in Bordeaux. Busy city indeed but I like it because there are many interesting things to see and the cafes are always vivants (alive). Bordeaux is one of the cruises destination I think. Normal because Bordeaux is the city where the best wines come from.

Visit St. Barts

St. Barts villa rentals is something that you've been thinking these last days? Worry no more because there are interesting offers that's available at wimco.com. It's a must-check because all best villas are only available here with full range of luxurious amenities that you deserve to have. It will surely be the best vacation you'll ever have once you'll be travelling in Carribean. The beaches are very lovable, the restaurants are world class and the place is pretty romantic. Have a look and you'll see what I'm trying to tell you guys here.

You know what I mean don't you? Buzz me once you're online and I'll keep in touch with you. I'm just right here searching for group health insurance.

Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac In Danger

I'm not really into business stuffs like the stocks and bonds subject but because of hubby's alternative income, I'm learning something from him in some ways.

Today for example, it's everywhere on the tv that 2 biggest names of mortgage companies are in big trouble. I'm referring to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac companies. As always, when something happens in US, everything is always affected and that would mean that goods and commodities will be increasing once again and thousands of people will be loosing their job. Economy isn't that really good since last year and this year too though, dollar rate keeps on decreasing since last year but in my own opinion, it doesn't change anything. What I'm trying to say is that it is good of course because the buying power for dollar is interesting but still, everything is expensive. As a person who sends something in my homeland, it's not good for me at all because I have to send more as the dollar rate is very low for me and yet, prices for rice and other stuffs are getting more and more expensive and there's no salary increase for the employees. You know what I'm trying to say here right?

The World

What a day! It’s raining and cold outside and yet, it’s summer time still. I’ve seen several documentaries these last days and all of these documentaries are all related to our mother nature and environment. It has been said that our nature is getting worst that’s why, more and more animals are dying especially in the North Pole and more and more unexpected things are coming like tsunami, earthquake, tornado, hurricane and so much more. Ice in the North Pole are melting and the animals living there will be in great danger once everything totally melts there and soon they’ll become endangered species. How will our children see these species if soon these animals be gone? That’s the question I always asked to myself.

Okay, I know I sounded too serious but I just can’t help myself. I wanted to make a difference but it’s not enough to save our nature. Have to look for North Carolina health insurance now before I’ll be posting a very long post here.

Instant People Search

Now that everything is run by computer and internet, yellowpage directories provided by the phone companies are very rarely used especially in rich countries. Even here at home, phone companies still distribute phone directories to the people around but it goes directly at the trash can. People here don’t find it very convenient and instead, they use People Search sites because it’s faster, simple, easy and all the infos are instantly available in less than 1 minute. Believe it or not, arier plan and even 3D view are even available. No wonder why more and more people prefer to do it online.

Friday 5 : Orange

What’s your favorite orange-colored food?
- oranges

What’s the best way to drink orange juice?
- with a straw :-)

Which candy’s orange-colored pieces taste best?
-hmmmm I'm not so much into candies

What are your feelings about orange soda?
- nothing special. I don't drink soda but I guess it tastes good

When did you last wear an orange item of clothing?
- oufff! orange as in orange??? never I guess but my wedding gown has some orange prints (small one's)

Be Aware!

Ladies, be aware and protect yourself and your daughters against those sexual predators. Better to do it than to regret later and become one of their victims. It’s never too late though and if we act together, we can make things happen and make a difference. Get the complete Sexual Predator List in your area and have the access by using registeredsexualpredators.org. All the infos you’ll be needing are available here and by that, you’ll be aware who these maniacs are and will be able to protect yourself against the possible danger that may happen. Do it ladies!

My Pasalubong

Yehhhhaaaaa! It's really nice to have many friends in this world, right? Blogging has allowed me to meet many friends coming from the different countries of the world and I am just so happy that because of them, I have gained more friends and never felt alone in this foreign land. Unbelievable because all these pinays (now in france) are my phonemates now ^-^. We talked for an hour and even more and sometimes, our conversation ended because the telephone doesn't have enough battery anymore.

Anyway, my very good friend Amy Kalidadis sent me these :-). I was jumping when I opened the pouch because this is the kind of dried fish that I love to eat. We used to ate it when I was still in PI plus the pinoy sawsawan with tomatoes and onions..Rgrgrg super yummy! Thanks Amy! I'm sending you something as well :-)

Relax And Consult Your Derma

I’d understand if you’ll be telling me that the you’re getting tired and disappointed of using these acne products you’ve got. Sister, relax and never give up. It’s normal and you can’t do anything about it but to keep on trying and consult everything to your dermatologist. There are several acne treatments available but you should ask your derma for more infos. I can’t recommend you anything because our cases are completely different but I’ll tell you, stress is the number 1 reason of pimples.

What Olympic Sport Are You?

You Are Gymnastics

You are agile, expressive, and precise.

You have the drive to practice until you get something perfectly right.

And you have the confidence to perform difficult moves when under pressure.

Since Beijing Olympics is in at this season, I thought of grabbing this quiz. FYI, I was an athlete when I was in highschool and the energy and power I've got at that time is completely different to the one I have now. I'm less active now and I'm already tired when I jog for 5 minutes already.

Wednesday Weirdness #16

1. Is there anything hanging from your vehicle's rear view mirror?
- yes, a car freshener

2. When you go into the bathroom, do you ever check behind the shower curtain? You know, to make sure no one is miraculously hiding back there.
- no. I don't do it coz I usually take my shower at around 11 in the morning and at that time, hubby is already at work.

3. At what age did your mom or dad give you "the talk" about sex?
- ha? lolz

4. If you could add anything at all to an airplane to make trips more interesting, what would it be and why?
- hmmm it will be more interesting for me if I'll have my own bedroom inside the plane lolz. For sure that will make my trips more interesting but I know it's impossible to happen ^-^

5. What is one thing you and your significant other can never seem to agree on?
- Digital camera and lenses

6. Have you ever walked in on someone else having sex? How did you and the people involved react?
- nope. Never experience that

7. Everyone hears discussions that they consider boring. What is one topic that can put you to sleep quicker than any other?
- I guess a situation wherein the person I'm with does the entire talking and proudly tells me that he/she has this and that and I don't have the right to talk. That will be very boring for me for sure

Coffee Break

Am I a coffee lover? Hmmm, not really. I can only accommodate either a cup of brewed coffee or a medium-sized glass of frap but I prefer fraps honestly. I love fraps very much but the sad part is that it’s only available in McDo (in my area). I miss Starbucks honestly but we don’t have one here in Bordeaux. The last time I went in Paris, my eyes sparkled like stars when I instantly saw this Starbucks chain there.

Going out and drinking for a cup of coffee is part of the french daily lives. Yes, coffee is always present in every after meal and Armagnac won’t be complete without it. Frenchies have their own coffee maker and Keurig K-Cups too. See? They love good things in life and in everything. Frankly speaking, I like how they enjoy their life and socialize their peers. I like the idea of inviting somebody like a friend for a drink in one of the good cafés at the center but my friends are always busy. It’s either they’re working or they’re at school.

Speaking about Keurig K-Cups, there’s an interesting offer online at GreatCoffee.com. There’s this free shipping for 6 or more boxes or you only pay $10.49 per box for 10 or more boxes.

TMI Tuesday #147 - "Out" Magazine Edition

1. What is your favorite song to have sex to?
- Ha? Hmmmmm lolz

- a place that is so hot and filled with fire everywhere. The only noise you'll hear there are screams calling for help

3. In the film made of your life, who will play you?
- Sharon Cuneta (local actress) ^-^

4. What is the one thing you most urgently need to tell your mom?
- once I'll get pregnant, she'll surely be the first one who'll know about it

5. What will be carved onto your tombstone?
- ha? I hate to talk about this kind of subject. I don't know why but that's how it is.

And the bonus: What is your drag name (which would be, first name: the name of your first pet; last name: the name of the street you grew up on)?
- I'm contented with FRANCINE already

Time For A Change

It has been months since the last time I really segregated our trash here at home. It may sound funny but it is absolutely true. Mostly of the time, I am too lazy or let’s just say that I don’t pay too much attention on my actions. I just throw and place all our trash in one plastic bag and it’s not good at all. Hubby friends are different and I adore them for being so respectful towards mother nature. Believe it or not but they have separate trash compactor bags for plastics, for bottles, for organic things and for bulbs and batteries. Even here at the neighborhood, people are doing it except me I think. I hope I’m not the only one who has this bad character but it’s never too late yet for a change. Am I right? Tomorrow will be the start of the Anna Marie’s new beginning. I’ll be purchasing different boxes and will start segregating our trashes. I want my kids to respect our nature, to be respectful in anything and for them to do that, they have to see that attitude and character from me. I have to set myself as a rule model and act as a responsible adult.

Watch Out!

I am surprised that this blog is PR 2 still. Why am I surprised? First, this blog doesn’t have much visitors compared to my 2 other blogs and second, it’s pretty obvious that there are more sponsored posts here and yet, google retain my PR. I am thankful of course that I still have my PR here but it’s just pretty confusing how PR is computed. Anyway, wanna thank my constant readers here for dropping by my blog(s) all the time. I owe you guys many things and soon, I’ll be paying you back by having my own contest here. Probably, I’ll be giving away Proactiv products, cash or something that I’ll order online and have it delivered at your home.

Apple Tarte

My very first try-out in making a tarte. Ever! I was desperate months ago to make any kinds of tarte but never had the guts to try it out as I don't want to take the risk. When my mother-inlaw showed me how to do it, I promised myself that I'll really make an apple tarte for hubby and for myself and I did it tonight while our preparing dinner. It's very easy and simple to prepare plus it tastes good as well. I poured natural gelatin on the top to avoid any dryness appeal of the tarte especially the apples.

P.S.
Thanks to my mom-inlaw for the patience in showing me her own tarte version :-)

GeckoGo

Majority of the people who knows me will always describe me as an adventurous type of a woman and a great traveller. Eversince I was in PI, I always set a budget for my travel expenses each month and travelled a place all by myself. Yes! You hear it right my friends. I am not scared at all to explore a certain place even if I have no one to accompany me. The only thing that I depend on until now when it comes to trave subject are the travel planning sites like GeckoGo for example. I am a perfectionist and when I travel, I really want it to be perfect and memorable.

Speaking about GeckoGo, this site will surely be your bestfriend if you consider yourself as an independent traveller. Members share their travel experiences in GeckoGo community and you too can show the places where you’ve been so that the other members may have an idea too. By sharing eachother’s travel experiences, everybody can get the best suggestions on the different places and the perfect time to do it. Me and my friends rely GeckoGo all the time especially this summer and I do believe that you’ll find this site very informative once you’ve tried it.

Latest Shot

I was on a Hiatus mode for several days and now I'm back. I have posted (Chez Francine & Le bric à brac de Cherie) why I wasn't around. For the people who don't know my 2 other blogs, feel free to visit these blogs and don't forget to leave your links there. I'll be very happy to visit your blogs starting tomorrow.

Anyways, was out these last days because we went in Troyes (my inlaw's place). We stopped by Paris first to get some important stuffs then headed directly on our final destination. This is one of the shots I took. I'm not done yet but I'll be posting more pix soon.

Paris Or Driving?

My birthday is coming and it is my greatest dream to go on the very top of the Eiffel Tower. Asked my husband if he’ll allow me to go Paris all by myself and spend my time with my friends next month but he prefers that we’ll be doing it with him. It’s good of course but I do know that his time won’t permit us to do it as he’s working mondays to fridays and his vacation holidays are fully consumed I guess. Tant pis! I guess, I’ll just have to focus my driving instead of going somewhere else. Or maybe, search for a term life insurance and have it as a business. Oufff! Don’t know if I’ll succeed on this part.

A Child In Me

I’m jealous when my friends tell me that they’ll be travelling in Orlando and will be visiting Disneyland. Wanna see Disneyland for real really and it’s one of my childhood dreams still. I do know that Orlando vacations have a lot to offer aside from seeing Disneyland but for me, Disneyland is on my number 1 list. I’m not a kid anymore but a child in me is always whispering me to see my favorite Disney characters for real one day.

What A Life

Other people may think that life in a foreign country like Europe is very easy. They always think that it’s very easy to earn many moolah and you’re rich. This kind of thinkings are absolutely not true! True that it’s easy to earn some money but you really have to work for it before you’ll get it. Life here is expensive and fast so you really have to get along and follow the flow of life in this foreign world. The language itself is the first obstacle we encounter but no matter how hard it is and no matter how long it will be for us to really speak the language perfectly, we still strive hard and look for a job for us to be able to send some money to our families back at home. I know that I am kinda emotional here but I just hate it when people think this way.

Ok, cool down Francine! Have to check commercial collection agencies then and maybe I’ll find my luck here.

Workplace To Be

You may tell me that I’m funny but I’m going to honestly admit that I’ve been watching our living room for more than 2 hours already. Lately, been thinking of making my own workplace because the usual workplace I have is the table facing infront of the tv. It’s not very comfortable especially if I want to get some things. Have to stand up to get the things I want then return here at the table then go back to the place to arrange that specific thing I get. It’s tiring and it’s eating my time (seconds count still right?). Hubby’s workplace isn’t enough for the 2 of us so I think I’ll be using this other table beside him. Have to find an extension wire first and this CAT6 something.

Lesser Pimples

These last days, I’ve noticed that my pimples are lesser compared before. The acne cream that I’m using really works! Thanks God! People around me have told me about it and they’re very happy to see me with lesser pimples. They knew how difficult it is for me to fight these pimples for a year till at the present time. It’s very disappointing and I never expected that this problem will be a part of my integration in this new place. Pimples do sometimes lessen my self-confidence and that’s the fact. I mean, who in this world would want to have one right especially for a woman? Nobody wants to have it because it’s dirty to look at and it’s unpleasing at all. How I wish these pimples will totally disappear.

Friday Fill-In #81

1. If I could be a fly on the wall I would definitely be a bird

2. Jealousy is normal in any relationship.

3. When I see a shooting star my wish would be that life will be better and people in this world will have something to eat 3 times in a day.

4. I'd rather be a butterfly than a worm any day!

5. Certain songs when I hear them make me wanna shake my botty (lolz), dance, sing and jump.

6. If time were in a bottle I'd surely be a soda.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to watch a film, tomorrow my plans include doing my own foot spa and Sunday, I want to go at the pool!

I Want This

Isn't it beautiful to have an outdoor space like this? I'm dreaming to have a very beautiful place like this where hubby and I could hung out and relax. An outdoor furniture like this is something that always catches my attention ^-^. Do I have an expensive taste or luxurious taste? No but I guess the home magazines I read have influenced me when it comes to this subject.

The Cheapest Prescription Eyeglasses

I knew it that ZenniOptical.com will be featured in the magazines and tv when I first saw their site. Well why not? I do know that many people will rely at this shop because their prescription glasses are incredibly affordable. Don't get them wrong! Even if their cheapest single vision eyeglasses cost only $8, the quality is good too. No wonder why they'll be featured on Fox news and for sure, they'll be featured in other stations too. Believe it or not but yes! Zenni on Fox!

What Kind of Shoe Are You?

You Are Flip Flops

You are laid back and very friendly.

Cheery and sunny in disposition, you usually have something to smile about.

Style is important to you, as long as you can stay casual.

It takes a lot to get you to dress up!

You are a loyal and true person, though you can be a bit of a flake.

You tend to "play hooky" and blow off responsibilities a lot more than most people.

You should live: By the beach

You should work: At a casual up and coming company

I best represent a pair of nice flip flops? Not bad especially if it's Havaianas. I just love flip flops and I wanna have the latest styles of it. Though I know that it's not possible for me to wear it 24/7/365 but I don't really care.

Life Is Funny

Life is indeed funny. Why am I saying this? Simply because I am observing the entire things around me and all of these things make me smile. Let's just say here for example, boutiques and supermarkets start to display their tanning lotions, weight loss pills and sunscreen products too. People instantly grabbed it and start to use these products so that when summer time comes, they'll have that skin color and perfect body they imagine to have. When sun is up, it's a feast for the people here and traffics are bumper to bumper. You'll never find anyone bringing up their umbrella no matter how sunny the day is except when it's raining of course. All these things are the complete opposite of the place where I came from but slowly and surely, I'm able to adopt little by little. Life is indeed full of surprises!

Anyway, as I mentioned about weight loss pills above, maybe I should be asking you people to have an eye at weightlosspills.net. They've got different weight loss pills available there and each pill brand has a review that comes from the users and shoppers who have tried it.
