Just A Thought

Life isn't perfect at all. Do you agree? Sometimes, we notice strange, unwanted thoughts that we consider horrible or shameful. We might be upset or shaken that we would think such thoughts and we tell ourselves that it is only just a thought, but those reactions only serve to sustain the problematic thoughts by feeding them energy. That self-disgust is based on the false assumption that we are our thoughts, that even unintentional thoughts, arising from our conditioned minds, are us. They are not us and we need not to act upon or react to them. They are just thoughts with no inherent power and no real message about who we are. We can just relax and let them go — or not. Troubling thoughts that recur over a long period and hinder our inner work may require us to examine and heal their roots in our conditioning.

Thoughts or short reflections comfort you during times of loss, doubt, fear or trouble. It reminds you of the great sacrifice that was freely given for the priceless gift of salvation for mankind. Some thoughts can be poetic but they are all uplifting and inspirational.

David Woon's blog contains his short reflections about Life in general which may serve as a source of inspiration for everyone at times of trouble or about life. His aim is we would also share these thoughts so that we can all learn and grow together as we strive to leave this world a better place than what it was before our humble existence :-)

Some thoughts I'd like to share are:

"One of the sanest, surest, and most generous joys of life comes from being happy over the good fortune of others".
--Archibald Rutledge, Outdoor writer, poet laureate

"Let us not be satisfied with just giving money. Money is not enough, money can be got, but they need your hearts to love them. So, spread love everywhere you go: first of all in your home. Give love to your children, to your wife or husband, to a next-door neighbour."
--Mother Teresa of Calcutta

"There is too much emphasis on success and failure, and too little on how a person grows as he works. Enjoy the journey, enjoy every moment, and quit worrying about winning or losing".
--Matt Biondi

Doing this post teaches me some lessons. Each person is unique and should be contented and thankful for the daily blessings they receive. Never compare yourself to anyone also *wink*.

to be happy, not many knows how to because some are (not all) are miserable in life despite they have evrything.
its not money or fame or glory that makes a person happy.

Its a life according to what our hearts desire.

Keeping the eyes simple helps.

Hirap nga lang when we are in the world full of competition.
Mais, pour nous çava bien.
