Hubby In Siquijor
Hubby and I love to do crazy things when together. We can be serious, funny, crazy at times and that's something I love about us. We act like kids when together. We punch eachother, tickle eachother, cuddle and many other things.
While I was still in PI and were having our vacation at Coral Cay Resort in Siquijor, I was trying to pretend that I am a journalist trying to get some suggestions or any recommendations from him, or anything that he has to say during his trip. And the result? Voila, this video hehehe. I took this video using my canon camera. I'm not that good but everytime we watch this in the computer, hubby and I are always laughing. I really found him cute especially when he says "Mabuhay".
Coral Cay Resort in Siquijor is one of the places we love. It's quite and the sunsets are very magnificent. The best sunset shots we took are from this province. We'd like to go back there again in the near future but I hope that the transportation from Cebu-Siquijor will be improving because it is a long trip huh moving from one place to another and transferring from one ferry or boat to another.

Contemporary Furniture At Modernfurniture
I was browsing their website and I love all their items. Their furnitures are very stylish and classy. They have items like sofas, loveseats, chairs, loungers, beds and many others. It is unbelievable because this company started last March 1999 and they continue to ship many furnitures everyday. Take note, their prices are very reasonable enough. Checking their CRAZY Deals, Closeout Sale and Overstock category is something that you shouldn’t miss. They accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Paypal and check as forms of payment. You can also try their room planner that allows you to create your specific requirements with furniture placements before you purchase the furnitures you want. That’s amazing right? So, shop now at modernlinefurniture.com.

Say "NO" To Anorexia
I first saw this girl on Elle Magazine. The very first time I saw it, I thought it was just a cartoon something or a picture edited for a special campaign. But honestly, this girl on the picture is really the real one and that's how she really looks like in real person. She looks very skinny and she's suffering from anorexia. Months ago, it has been in the news everywhere that models in the fashion world must not be too skinny and they should gain weight. Why? Young women look up to them and follow them. Let's face it, what young people see on tv has a very big influence in someone's eyes and life. Many young women are very much willing to suffer their meals just to have a very petite size like the models. But on my part, I don't imagine myself as skinny as that.

Anyway, the model above is called Isabelle Caro, french and she's 27 years young. She got famous after she posed naked in an ad campaign in battling againt anorexia. From her blog, she said that she's been suffering anorexia at the age of 13. Photographs posted on magazines and ads were shot by the controversial italian photographer whose name is Oliviero Toscani. What's their aim of exposing this kind of photo and this girl? It is to show everyone the reality of this illness, caused in most cases by the stereotypes imposed by the world of fashion. If I remember it very well, last year, super-skinny models were banned from Madrid Fashion Week. The ban covers girls with a body mass index of below 18 -- 18.5 to 25 is considered to be "normal."
Now let me ask you, do you want to have that super skinny body too like models or like her? Better think about it before it's too late.

My Nieces 4th Birthday!
Today is my nieces birthday. As usual, they are always treated like princess. A party is always there with little give-aways for the kids, balloons, cake and food of course. This is the first time they celebrated their birthday without me but I make it in a point that they’ll always remember me as their aunt. They were happy because I asked my mom to buy them new dresses and they were very happy with it. I talked to them and they were very proud to tell me that they have this and that and they have many visitors at home. Well, kids will always be kids you know. My mom on the other hand is very busy now at home especially at the kitchen preparing the foods. My family at home are not really use to of doing it because I am the one who does the food preparation when there are celebrations. And as I am far away from them now, they have to check the recipes I gave them from time to time. I am very happy that my entire family is happy. This is occasion is like a reunion also with my relatives (mother’s side) because all of them are coming to celebrate my nieces birthday.
To my nieces, happy 4th birthday! I am very proud that both of you are very smart kids. I am very happy as well that both of you show the interests in studying or in going to school. Love you my dearest angels *muah*
P.S.
Sorry the picture is quite old. The pix I have here in my laptop are quite big so I don’t have any other choice but to pick this picture out as it is smaller. I mean the file is smaller.

All About Wedding
Wedding is a very nice celebration but it is problematic too because there are many details to study and to prepare before the big day. These wedding magazines and websites are really helpful. I can’t imagine my life without it. But honestly, my inlaws are very much involved with the preparations. My inlaws are the ones who do the wedding preparations here in France especially in dealing with the chateau, the florists, the food, distribution of invitations and many others. Give-aways decision is not final yet but it will be something our guests will surely love.

Am I Vain Or Not?
I don't really know if I am that vain or not but yes, I've got things which I consider as part of my daily must-haves. One number there is the laptop as I love to blog now and I always check the sites if I have any opportunities or not. While waiting for the time to arrive for my work, you'll always find me infront of the laptop. I spent hours surfing, browsing my other friend's blog, checking for my earnings and thinking for articles that I will be writing. My personal stuffs are something I can't live without especiall the products for my hair and face. I've been very careful especially about my face. I can't live without this facial wash and I can't sleep if I don't wash my face before sleeping. Everytime I go out also, a wallet, my translator and my 2 other phones must be with me all the time. Well, I think majority of us can't live without the cellphone. The elle magazine is part of my daily life also already. Every week, I got new mgazines and it makes me updated especially about the fashion world. So what do you think? Am I just natural or too vain?

Holidays are coming fast. Halloween is just around the corner and then Christmas comes. Halloween is one of the holidays when people use their costumes. Some famous and common halloween costumes are superheroes costumes, humorous costumes, horror and gothic halloween costumes and many others. I won’t be surprise if you will be seeing anyone at the party who has exactly the same costume like yours. On my part, I prefer to be unique and different.
Anyway, Halloween is not just for kids but for adults as well. You can wear anything you want during this holiday. It is kinda funny because the other night, I was watching a film and one of the guest who attended the party on this film was wearing a NFL uniform as his Halloween Costume. He had his helmet, shoulder pads, polyester jersey and pants. When my husband saw this one, he found it very cute. He told me that sports fanatics love it especially the kids. Well, if you are interested to grab and dress like your favorite player from your NFL favorite team, you should visit fanshopinc.com. They have masks, hats, caps, wigs and many others. Our Weekend In Perpignan
These are the pictures I took last weekend when we went in Perpignan. It is in south of France. We went there to attend a birthday party of my inlaws' closest friends. Despite that I was so busy last friday and slept around 1+ in the morning, still, I managed to woke up at around 5:45 in the morning. So tired and sleepy but we needed to left home at around 7 in the morning because Perpignan is 5 hours drive by car from Bordeaux. We were a little bit lost in searching the retaurant but not bad. The frenchies are really nice and they all welcomed me with opern arms as I am the only one who is not french in their group. Never I felt OP or anything. We all had a great time there and I did enjoyed it. I love to socialize the people here now. But anyway, didn't manage to post all the pictures because photobucket can't manage to carry all the files I have. I will post more pictures soon!

Want To Discover Great New Places?
One of my closest classmate at Alliance Française here in Bordeaux called me. She asked me how am I doing and what’s new with my life. I told her that I am now working and excited for my wedding next month. Too bad because she couldn’t come. She’s back in Spain and she’s working too. She told me that she had her vacation in London together with her italian boyfriend. They are very adventurous and they love to visit places that are new to them. She told me that london restaurants are the best. They discovered these restaurants because of the website that is called trusted places. This website is a new community on the world wide web where people share their opinions on places they know. It is very interesting because this site allows anyone to discover new places without any hassle. Members can write reviews of their favourite restaurants, bars, clubs and cafes. Check their website for you to discover adventurous and interesting places.

Discount Walt Disney World Tickets in Orlando
I was very much surprised that I got an email from my aunt who lives in Chicago. She told me that her entire family just returned from their Disney trip last week and they had an incredible time there . I am jealous hehehe but I am very happy for them. She sent me some photos and it’s pretty obvious from the pictures that everyone had a great time there especially her 2 kids. Her husband was very proud to tell me that he bought their Disney World Tickets in advance. They told me how amazing the queue was when they arrived in Walt Disney. Well, I’m not surprise by that. I know that Walt Disney is one of the famous places in Orlando and it is really a good idea to purchase one’s ticket in advance to avoid any hassles. By purchasing your tickets in advance, it allows you to save time and money.

I Ended Up Buying Skechers Instead Of Crocs
I've been searching for a boutique here in Bordeaux that sells crocs sandals. I've been searching it for weeks already. First, I went to Bordeaux Lac mall to check the stores there but they all tell me that they don't have any stock available and they only had several pieces displayed during summer. I was sad at first but I didn't give up. Hubby and I went to Bordeaux centre last weekend but the stores at the center only have 1 style available. Too bad. Instead of hopping for more stores again, I ended up purchasing this black thongs from Skechers. I love the light brown color but they don't have my size. The owner said I have very small size and teased me that I should look at children's store for my sizes. I don't know if I'll be happy with this comment or what. As I don't have any choice, I decided to take the black one as my other black thong here at home is very dirty and ugly. I am still searching for havaianas flip flops but difficult to find the ones I like. Perhaps, I'll do it in Philippines because cheaper and more models to choose from hehehe. I am not that really extravagant but I wanted to reward myself. Well, this thong is the only reward for myself. Syempre, have to save more. I must admit that I have a flip flop collector especially when it comes to havaianas.

I'm Sick Again
This week started to be a little bit cold here. It is sunny but it is windy too at the same time. When the temperature is like this, my lips gets dry and I get colds. I don’t like it when I’ve got colds because I don’t like to take medicines. I don’t like how it taste. Yes, I am like a kid but I prefer to suffer than to take medicines. Even if the tablet is very tiny, it is very, very difficult for me to swallow it. I don’t know why I’m like that but we are all unique. I am unique pero medyo weird nga lang ;-p. I am a little bit careful because I pick up a small kid at the school everyday and I don’t want her to get sick as well. But it seems like it’s the contrary, she has colds first and then me. I am quite sensitive when it comes to dust or when I see someone doing accho or something. The weakest part of my body has always been my nose because I easily get colds or flu. But I will surely be on a rest during the weekend. Let me share you what I found about colds:
What is a cold?
A cold is a contagious respiratory infection that is caused by a virus. More than 200 different viruses can cause colds.
What are the symptoms of a cold?
-Runny nose
-Sneezing
-Cough
-Sore throat
-Headache
-Nasal congestion
-Fever may be present, especially in children
These symptoms usually occur two to three days after infection and will usually end in seven to 10 days.
How are colds treated?
There is no cure for a cold, but getting enough rest is the best way to make a quick recovery. Several remedies may shorten a cold’s duration and help you feel better. Talk with your doctor before taking any medication or giving medication to your child.
Over-the-counter cold medications may relieve the symptoms of a cold. However, the benefits of these medications are minimal.
Some of these medications include the following:
-Acetaminophen relieves the aches and pains of a cold without upsetting the stomach.
-Aspirin should not be given to children under the age of 18 because of its link to Reye’s Syndrome, a disorder that mostly affects children 4 to 12 years old and causes brain damage and death.
-Decongestants relieve nasal congestion.
-Antihistamines are used to stop a runny nose and sneezing.
-Cough suppressants may diminish a cough in adults, but these medications have not been found to be beneficial for children.
-Expectorants loosen mucous so that it can be easily expelled.
-Drinking plenty of fluids will keep the nose and throat moist and will loosen mucous. Stay away from alcohol and caffeine because they have a drying effect.
How can you keep from getting a cold?
-Wash your hands--especially before eating and preparing food, after using the bathroom, after wiping your nose, and after coming in contact with someone who has a cold.
-Avoid touching your eyes and nose to prevent the spread of viruses from your hands.
-Avoid contact with those who have a cold.
-Clean frequently used surfaces (such as doorknobs) with a virus-killing disinfectant.
-Use hand sanitizers when water is not available.
-Get enough sleep, eat a healthy diet, and exercise. This will strengthen your immune system and enable you to fight off infections easier.
When does a cold require a doctor’s care?
Contact your doctor if you have any of the following:
-High fever
-Chest pain
-Greenish mucous
-Ear pain
-An asthma flare-up
You may also have a bacterial infection, which can be diagnosed and treated by your doctor. Children with colds should be watched closely, and a doctor should be contacted if children have a high fever, are wheezing, are not eating, are sleepier than usual, cry a lot, or have ear or stomach pain.

He Loves Chocolate Cakes And Brownies!
Last week, I decided to try our oven here at home. I don't really use it that much. It's hubby who cooks the meals at home operated by the oven. I'm very lazy to do it. And as I was very free last week, I wanted to surprise hubby by baking brownies. He likes to eat chocolate cake for his breakfast and he loves it. He also likes it as his dessert. Here's the recipe if you guys are interested with it:
Fudge Brownies
150 gm [1 cup] plain flour
1/8 tsp fine salt
170 gm [6 oz] dark chocolate
1 tsp vanilla extract
125 gm [1/2 cup] butter - softened
170 gm [3/4 cup] caster sugar (superfine)
110 gm [1/2 cup] firmly packed soft brown sugar
3 large eggs
120 gm [1 cup] roughly chopped pecan or walnuts
Procedure:
1. Grease and flour lightly a 9-inch (23 cm) square pan. Preheat the oven to 180C/350F/fan 160C/gas mark 4. I use 140C here at home
2. Mix the flour and salt well then set aside.
3. Break chocolate into pieces and melt in a heatproof bowl over a saucepan of simmering water.
4. Beat the butter, sugars, and vanilla until light and fluffy (about 3 minutes).
5. Add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
6. Beat in the melted chocolate mixture.
7. Add in the flour and beat at low speed until smooth.
8. Pour in 2/3 of the nuts.
9. Pour the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle the rest of the nuts on top.
10. Bake for 40-45 minutes until a thin skewer poked in the middle comes out clean but not dry - DO NOT overbake!
11. Remove from oven and cool in the pan for a few minutes then turn out to a rack to cool completely. Cut into squares and serve.
Sweat Suit To Lose Weight Fast
These past days, I’ve seen several people wearing sweat suits when they're exercising at the park. Do you know what’s my first impression? I thought that it must be hot wearing it and heavy. Due to my curiousity, I made a research on the internet. I wanted to find out if it’s the new fashion for the people here or what. From the research I did, Sweat Suits are said to be a great way to lose weight fast. For people who are serious about fitness or exercising, this item is the must have item for them. It is also said that by using this item, you perspire more and the increase in your body temperature helps increase your metabolism and calorie burning. Football players, boxers and rugby players are the ones who usually endorsed this item. Sweat suits aren’t that really expensive. If you want to find the best price, feel free to visit Boxing Depot. Their ground shipping cost only $2.95 only.

What Makes You A Good Friend?
I was tagged by Melody again. Thanks for the tag sis.
What Makes You A GoOd Friend?
-I am a friend that you can always rely on in times of trouble and in times of happiness. I give advices to anyone everytime they need one. I can be frank at times but that's what you'll get in me. I don't like plastic people and I do my best to be natural and to act who I am to anyone. I know that I can't please anyone but I respect their views and opinions, I respect them for who they are and I don't choose what their races, color or nationality is to be considered as a friend. I like to share things but never betray the trust I give you as a friend coz once it's broken, it would be very difficult for me to trust you again.
An interesting quote I found by Ralph Waldo Emerson:
The glory of friendship is not the outstretched hand, nor the kindly smile, nor the joy of companionship; it is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship.
I'd like to tag my good friends: Girlie, Marie, ZJ, Francine (myself) and Yen
