I Was Touched By An Angel

This afternoon, I was touched by this little girl that I use to pick up everyday. We were walking on our way back home and we were talking. When we crossed the road, she saw a green bottle at the sidewalk. Do you know what she said? She said that it isn't good at all to place a bottle or any garbages at the sidewalk. It should be disposed off properly and should be segregated well. Wow! I was shocked when I hear her talking that way acting as if she's a big girl. But seriously, my pride melted down because I am older than her but I don't seriously practice it at home. I am too lazy to do it. I know I shouldn't be doing it anymore but my laziness is killing me. It is true that kids here are thought how to act as a responsible person. And honestly, they act more mature than their elders like me. Even my teacher shared this at the class that her own son was telling her to recyle and to segregate the trashes well. Kids here are thought about these things at the school. I am happy because I am learning many things from this little girl. She knows many things than I do. It's just so surprising for me that she's really like a big girl...talking and acting like she's an adult. Perhaps, I should open my eyes now and start moving now. I was really touched this afternoon and it made me realize that I shouldn't let my laziness eat me. But instead, to help and to set as a good example by showing and by helping in saving our nature.

Hi Francine, o eh di environment-friendly ka na ngayon...he he. Ako, I make sure walang kalat sa place ko or around our area. Pag me nakita akong balat ng saging, I pick it up kagad or me big stone na pwedeng makatalisod, I put them away. Worry ko baka me masaktan or madulas like me or my kids....Paranoia mixed with oc to the max noh...
